Micah Bournes//Spoken Word & Aisea Taimani//Acoustic Soul travelled across the NorthWest during their 'Closer To Home' tour bringing their magic to September's Summer Art Collective.
Micah Bournes was raised in the hip hop culture of Long Beach, California. He received his bachelor of arts degree in media communications from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago. During college, he began writing and performing music and poetry. His rhythmic roots and theological training unite to birth a unique brand of creative truth-telling. Though he writes creatively in many contexts, he is most known for spoken word poetry. Micah has showcased live at platforms such as the Justice Conference and has partnered with various non-profit organizations, most significantly with World Relief.
Aisea Taimani is a Pacific Islander by origin and Bay Area local who through Acoustic performances across the US West Coast has forged a connection with fans drawn to his sound. Along with a strong support from his hometown in South San Francisco, he continues to share his talent across Bay Area communities.
